This acrylic painting was made as a response to the “expressing seasons” assignment from drawing and painting class. It depicts a scene of a forest near Provincetown, MA, and the bike I rode through its sandy trails over the summer. Walking deeper through the forest, I soon encountered the sand dunes the campground I was staying at, Dunes’ Edge, is known for. The colors are intentionally vibrant and bright, as they were chosen to represent the season of summer.
